rsstail software package provides console RSS reader that monitors a feed and outputs new entries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rsstail
rsstail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rsstail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rsstail *
You will get with rsstail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
